Siding Glossary

The process of running a sharp object, such as a utility knife, across a siding panel without cutting all the way through. The panel can then easily be broken off cleanly along the line of scoring.

The underside space between the end of the roof and the side of a home, often vented to provide circulation to the attic.

A measurement that equals 100 square feet of siding.
