What is a Double-Hung Window?

A double-hung window can be raised from the bottom or lowered from the top with two sashes that move independently. The two sashes are stacked and meet in the middle with a latch that locks the window shut. Double-hung windows are simple to clean as both sashes tilt inward for easy access to the interior and exterior glass surfaces. Because double-hung windows ventilate without protruding inwards or outwards, they maximize both interior and exterior space, making them popular choices in entertainment spaces like patios and porches.

Tomorrow’s Technology for Your Home Today

Neopor® insulating materials therefore represent a modern, environmentally aware lifestyle.

Silver-Grey Neopor is comprised of many small pockets of air within a polymer matrix containing graphite. The graphite reflects radiant heat energy like a mirror, increasing the material’s resistance to the flow of heat, or R-value. Most polymer-based foams exhibit a greater ability to slow the movement of heat as the temperature decreases. Neopor is in a unique class because it increases in R-value as the temperature outside drops.

    Stability and Durability

Neopor® is adaptable in size, thickness, shape and density, providing maximum flexibility and durability. And, Neopor® is stable as it consistently delivers the highest true R-value performance over time.

    Adaptable to all climate zones

Neopor® powers up when it gets cold outside. Insulating external walls with Neopor® increases the temperature of their inside surfaces which helps create a better indoor climate. And, Neopor® GPS boards are thinner than others so the same effect is achieved with less material.

    Energy Performance Glass Pack

Energy Reflective Glass is constructed by a high-tech process called MSVD in which individual atoms of different metals are deposited on the glass substrate while in a vacuum chamber. The different layers each serve a purpose, and much of the process is patent protected. Because each layer is built by depositing individual atoms onto the glass, the 11 layers of ERGTM Energy Reflective Glass are microscopically thin.

    • Stops Radiation
